Active Learning for Intelligent Grasping of Multiple Objects (ALIGMO)

Funding Agency: BMWK (Germany)
Partners: voraus Robotik GmbH (Germany)
Duration: January 2025 - December 2026

Project Abstract

In the ALIGMO project, we are developing a hardware-independent, AI-based software for robotic grasping of unknown objects that can actively learn and adapt to new tasks and changing environmental conditions. By combining active learning with a novel multi-object picking method, the system enables efficient, simultaneous handling of multiple items without reliance on specific robot manufacturers. The goal is to provide a cost-effective, user-friendly software that increases efficiency and flexibility for deployment across diverse production and logistics environments.
